Frequently Asked Questions

What is expected on service days?

Our People

On the morning of your scheduled visit, we’ll text you ahead of time as a reminder. Remember to place the cat box outside if you’ve scheduled a cat box service.

After letting you know we’ve arrived, we’ll enter your yard through the agreed-upon unlocked entrance. When your removal service is finished, we’ll secure the area and inform you that we completed the job. Please note that gate codes are to be supplied during the initial visit and anytime updates to the system occur.

Leaves and debris must be maintained -within reason- for us to be efficient. The yard’s entrance and the area must be a safe space, minimizing risks. If we do not feel safe, your yard may not be serviced. If you have pets that are cautious with strangers, they cannot be present during servicing (violation of these will result in your yard not being serviced and you may incur the regular service fee. We are not responsible for pets getting in or out of your space).

How do we start service?

Our People

All you have to do is sign up through our online form or give us a call. A member of our team will schedule an appointment for your initial visit. We’ll come to your property and introduce ourselves to you and your pets. While there, we’ll do an initial cleaning and assess the space. Additional charges may occur if you have a large lot or there are extra pets. These charges will be discussed at the time of service. After the initial visit, you are not required to be present for our servicing appointments. We’ll either call or text you when we’ll be by and when we’ve completed your removal service if that is what you prefer.

Will my service day & time always be the same?

Our People

Not always. Though we maintain a schedule and will always service during business hours, the actual time and day will be set according to our route. To clarify, if you schedule a weekly removal service, you’ll be serviced twice a week, either Tuesday and Friday, or Wednesday and Saturday. Monthly clients will be seen once per week for the calendar month.

Will my yard be serviced all year round?

Our People

Your yard will be serviced regularly, as agreed, until you request otherwise. However, during extremely bad weather, service will be delayed for safety. We will resume the next appropriate day and pick up double doody.

Do you offer cat box cleaning service?

Our People

Yes! If you have cats as well, we can maintain your litter box for you. We offer medium and large boxes, based on your needs. Initially, you’ll receive two boxes filled with clean litter. On your service day, place the used box outside, and we’ll take it away to clean it. On your next service day, we’ll rotate them out again. You’ll always have a clean box in use.

Can I cancel or change my service?

Our People

Yes, changes must be made ahead of time. Please reach out by Monday before 11 AM to make any adjustments or requests.

**Pain In The Grass Sanitation reserves the right to end service anytime. After Monday, I may not be able to accommodate any changes, and you may be charged.

What is the payment schedule?

Our People

Weekly service is billed on Mondays. If you select monthly service, billing will occur on the 1st. Daily/Multi pet service will be billed in 4-week increments.

You can change service based on the needs of your family, but service will be auto-billed unless requested in writing before the next billing cycle. Please email info@paininthegrasssanitation.com.

Methods of payment:

Our People

Visa, Master Card, PayPal, and cash (must be home during visits).

What do you do with “the Doo”?

Our People

We scoop and secure all waste and take it off the premises. This helps your family by reducing disease, odor, and allowing more space in your weekly garbage cans.

Going the Extra Mile

Choose a service that goes the extra mile. At Pain in the Grass, we work to ensure that your pets are comfortable with us entering their space. Once we introduce ourselves, we make sure to give them lots of attention and share our allergy-free, human-grade treats throughout our visit. We encourage you to allow your pets to supervise us while we work. We may even spend a few minutes playing with them after we’ve done our “doody.”
